Terms of sale

Offers. Prices on the website are in euros, including VAT where applicable (margin scheme for second-hand goods) and excluding shipping. A listing is an invitation to enquire, not a binding offer; a sale is concluded when we confirm your order in writing and you have paid.
Availability. Pieces are unique. We reserve a piece for you after confirmation; if a piece turns out to be unavailable, we refund any payment in full.
Shipping. Shipping is quoted per piece and destination and agreed before payment. Risk passes to you on delivery. Outside the EU, import duties and taxes are for the buyer.
Condition. All pieces are second-hand. We describe condition and known defects to the best of our knowledge; normal traces of age and use are not defects. Measurements may deviate slightly.
Transport damage. Report within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We handle the claim with the carrier and repair, replace or refund.
Right of withdrawal. Consumers in the EU have a 14-day right of withdrawal for distance sales, except where the piece was prepared or modified to your specifications. Return shipping of furniture is for the buyer and must be arranged with us. Collected pieces inspected in the showroom are not covered.
Liability. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the piece. Lamps are sold as vintage objects; have them checked by an electrician before use unless we state they were rewired.
Law. Dutch law applies; disputes go to the court of Groningen unless consumer law gives you another forum.
